The Andracek Boys

Aaron and Tim came to visit River Falls the last weekend in February. They arrived late on Friday night but that didn't stop us from partying it up a bit with some cocktails and Rock Band. On Saturday the boys played video games and we watched some Always Sunny in Philadelphia. We tried to go bowling but it was league night here and in Hudson so we settled from some Lugi's pizza and games at home. Sunday was a lazy day with a viewing of Star Trek and more Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It was a wonderful weekend and VERY fun!

Updated Bathroom

In November and the beginning of December Erik and I decided it was time to update the bathroom. We were unhappy with the flooring that had been in the bathroom since we had moved in. The wall color also needed an update. Erik also really dislikes the popcorn ceiling in each room and is slowing working on re-doing the ceiling. He started with the bathroom and has now done the bedroom too. The bathroom was finished by my graduation and our parents were the first to check it out!

Graduation

So this post is a few months behind but I still haven't received my diploma yet so.......

Anyway, I graduated with my Masters in Education from UW-Stout on December 19th. It was a very fun and special day for me and my family. Erik, my mom and Erik's parents were all there to celebrate with me in Menomonie. Stout only holds a morning graduation in the winter so we were in town bright and early but it was worth it because I wanted to be on time and settled to calm my nerves. It was funny how anxious I was about the ceremony. I think part of the anxiety was because I didn't set foot on campus once for class since all of my courses were on-line :) Luckily, I did attend Stout for my undergrad so I knew my way around.

The ceremony itself was fine....not too long and very excited once my program was called to come up. I was the first one in our group....got to love having an "A" to start the last name. After the ceremony was over we took some pictures on campus and then went to the Stout Ale House to celebrate. Later that evening back in River Falls we had a nice dinner and drinks at our house. It was a wonderful and memorable weekend!
